Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS)
The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), in partnership with AARP and the NAHB Research Center created the CAPS certification program, which includes training on the technical, business management and customer service skills essential to compete in the fastest growing segment in the remodeling industry related to aging-in place / home modifications. CAPS graduates include architects, designers, remodelers, builders, occupational therapists and others who help homeowners remain in their home safely, independently and comfortable in their home as they age.
We are proud to have on our staff individuals who have taken the time to earn this designation and enhance their knowledge and skills related to the aging-in-place population. CAPS individuals pledge and adhere to a strict code of ethics. Learn more about this designation at:
